The case sides are sculpted, the bezel is massive… the 5205 is Patek’s most progressive and aggressively designed case yet. Tiffany signed dial is glossy black with large applied rose gold hour markers connected by an interstitial ring, which gives the appearance of being a Sector dial. The calendar information is displayed in apertures: the day, date and month are displayed in apertures spanning from between the 10 o’clock position to the 2 o’clock positions. The moonphase is displayed in the aperture in the subdial at 6 o’clock, and is surrounded by the 24 hour time display. Dauphine hands in rose gold. Does it get any better?
